New Google Service: Google Analytics

I’ve been using a free account of StatCounter.com to track the visits to dbdesc since I’ve uploaded the website. I have to admit that at the beginning I couldn’t stop refreshing the statistics to see how many visits the site was having, studying the path of my visitors through the web, etc. Now I can say that I’m done with that and I barely consult the number of downloads on the hosting web stats. StatCounter.com was offering free web statistics with a log limit of 100 visits. Once you exceed that limit the log starts to overlap itself and you loose track of returning visitors, etc. The service always worked nicely, even in the worst moments of my addiction.

Now that Google offers the same service for free without limits I wonder how these kinds of businesses are going to react.
